Your Personal Nature Project
Welcome to the Personal Nature Project. I am so happy you’re here.
This project is a labor of love, sparked by a dinner conversation with the love of my life a few years ago, and I am so grateful to him for that moment of inspiration and encouragement.
Each January 1, I choose three words to guide the rest of my year (I don’t believe in traditional resolutions). This year’s words are:
This launch, at the midway point of the year, embodies the “bloom” part. However, life also requires rest and nourishment, and I reminded myself of that need for balance with a quote that I taped to my bathroom mirror:
“Be patient with yourself. Nothing in nature blooms all year.”—Unknown
I draw tremendous inspiration from nature, and it is also the place I go for rest and renewal.
Each phase in the natural life cycles around us fills me with awe, and that’s something I want to share with others. As adults, we too often get swept up in busy-ness and lose touch with the sense of amazement we felt as children. My goal through this project is to help adults at all stages of life reconnect with that feeling as they experience nature.
More to come!
